simply beautiful Karen... i needed these spring colours being still in the grip of winter....

the previous painting is such a sensitive balance of colours, perfect for the subject.

Thank you, Rahina! We're having a very mild winter this year ... nights still close to freezing, but days very spring-like already. I'm sure we're still in for some cold weather. I remember one winter not too long ago it snowed all over the daffodils which were already in bloom!

winter here is also comparably mild Karen... My ornamental daffodils have come into bloom... the worst really has been the heavy continuous rain and the 90mph winds which have taken down a lot of very old trees... but your paintings are always so heart warming and wholesome no matter what the weather.
